Given that it was our nation's 51st birthday, I decided to pitch an photo essay to my school newspaper publication, The Republican Post.

Together with my writer/ photographer Kimberly Winona, we hit the grounds to capture the scenes of what goes on behind Singapore's 51st birthday, bringing the show to you.
